Job Posting Period: 3 Weeks (Due date is 15 November 2022)

Purpose Statement

This role will build and lead a high performing, customer centric team (analyst team for Reporting & Analysis("R&A") and Plannning & Forecasting("P&F")) providing finance business services to APAC HQ FP&A(Financial Planning and Analysis) and Counry FP&A in the area of Reporting and Analysis and Planning and Forecast to Boston Scientific across APAC.

This role will ensure superior level of financial support to the business and maximizes operational efficiency by standardization and centralization incl. automation and continuous improvements, by aligning with APAC HQ FP&A & country FP&A.

Key Responsibilities

-Establishes and communicates a clear vision for the delivery of services in the HUB organization.
-Develops and translates business strategy into operational goals and objectives for the respective team in HUB organization, by alining with Sr. Manager of HUB. Anticipates business needs, identifies necessary resources (people and capital); assesses opportunities against business objectives, manages risk and determines creative means to implement new & innovative finance solutions.
-Manages a diverse team of varied skillsets and ensures that they are fully trained and consistently follow proper procedures.
-Ensures that appropriate documents, templates, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for key processes are in place (planning, budgeting, reporting, etc.) in the responsible areas.
-Works with various functional and regional leads to identify process and policy improvement opportunities and champions a culture of continuous improvement.
-Provides guidance on new planning, reporting and forecasting technologies, concepts and process improvements.
-Manages client requests, issues and resolution and reviews/analyzes new services requests.
-Ensures that the respective organization output is delivered to high standard & in a timely way
-Participates in governance models. Ensures process specific agreed upon SLAs are adhered to and engages in root cause analysis of performance issues when they arise. Continually revisits SLAs to ensure proper components are being measured.
-Builds and maintains relationships throughout the organization, encouraging cross-country/divisional alignment, good communication and business transformation, facilitating cultural change
-Co-ensures that employees are notified of all mandatory training and quality obligations. Tracks completion of mandatory training.
-Recruit, retain and develop the team members
Requirements

-Degree in Business Administration or similar
-7-10+ years of experience in FP&A
-Proven people leadership capability and track record of building and managing a team by fostering a diverse workplace, being a role model to drive the Diversity and Inclusions
-Proven ability to establish and communicate a clear vision of a newly established team to the team members as well as stakeholders
-Track record of identifying improvement opportunities and implementation of the solutions with the team, challenging status quo for operational excellence, by aligning with stakeholders under complexity
-Proven skills of stakeholder management in matrix organization, together with communication skills to deliver presentation at top management level and to influence and collaborate with others in a well-grounded manner
-Proven ability to work with a 'sense of urgency' to meet critical deadlines
-Strong project management skills including change management, prioritization and time management
-Ability to work across different cultures
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and multi-task with flexible and agile mindset
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional APAC languages is desirable (Mandarin, Japanese, other)
