Manager, Fund Accounting
For a globally operating asset servicing company based in Malaysia, they are seeking a Manager, Fund Accounting. This role is pivotal in diverse operational backgrounds including custody, reconciliation, corporate actions, and PERES, with minimal direct fund accounting experience, provided they meet the leadership and transformation criteria outlined below.
What you will Do?

• Lead and manage a team of fund accounting professionals, ensuring high performance, engagement, and development.
• Oversee daily operations and ensure accurate and timely NAV calculations and reporting.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and lead transformation projects to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and support strategic goals.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring service excellence and compliance.

Your Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Experience in fund accounting or financial services operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with fund structures, financial instruments, and regulatory frameworks is a plus.
• Demonstrated people management and leadership capabilities (especially critical for Manager level).
• Proven experience in project management or process improvement initiatives.
• A proactive change mindset with adaptability to drive and embrace transformation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• open to candidates with backgrounds in Custody Operations, Reconciliation, Corporate Actions, PERES (Private Equity, Real Estate, and Securitization)
