:The Marketing, Recruitment, Admissions and Communications is recruiting a Manager, Future Students to join the team. This team, is primarily the first point of contact for the university for future students. As the Manager, Future Students role, you will be leading the domestic school outreach team and international student recruitment team.This role will require to plan, strategise and execute all nurturing events for public, international and private schools for future student data collection. The post holder is responsible for developing and executing activities to achieve international and domestic student recruitment targets.This role will manage and strengthen our partnership with agents, expand our agent portfolio domestically and internationally, developing existing and future international and domestic target markets.Key Duties and Responsibilities * Develop, plan and manage international student recruitment strategies for the recruitment of international and students to HWUM.

  • Develop, plan and manage executable solutions to reach out to both domestic and international school-based students and to promote HWUM as an option for future recruitment, including colleges and possible articulation from other qualifications.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Campaigns team for promotional events and campaigns via digital & print media to assist the recruitment of Malaysia/ International students.
  • Lead, monitor and measure recruitment performance of the Education Consultants and ensure targets are met for the various intakes.
  • Develop, appoint & manage the performance of recruitment agents in Malaysia/ overseas for the recruitment of students to HWUM.
  • Work together with Regional representative for recruitment to Malaysia.
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing by cycle, lead collection, enrollments and targets and to be able to identify and execute territories; projecting expected partner school leads.
  • Using CRM as a tool for monitoring events, tagging and territory management and leads management.
  • Keep abreast of developments in the education industry and explore potential opportunities including new markets.
  • Working together with academics to create exciting nurturing programmes for campus event, and campus visit or virtual event.
  • Executing the operations of entire Future Students team to prepare for lead collection of Partner School Leads by cycle, to be well verse with changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Create an end to end process of nurturing events . includes delegation of responsibilities, building capabilities and recognizing results and execution.
  • Lead, motivate and develop staff including addressing training needs of the team.
  • To also support the recruitment of Domestic through agency and schools and International students to HWUM as well as part of possible opportunities involved with general student recruitment.

  • Must have a degree - preferably in marketing , communications, business, administration or relevant professional qualifications.
ExperienceEssential:
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years\' experience in a student recruitment environment or other industry will be considered.
  • Experience of managing other people to deliver effective and efficient recruitment strategies.
  • Experience in managing Schools and agent engagement. Domestic and international market.
Desirable:
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years\' experience in sales, territorial management can be considered

  • Demonstrable and well-developed inter-personal skills, comfortable interacting directly with agents, school counsellors and potential students.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, at a professional level suitable for dealing with complex enquiries.
  • Excellent organization and interpersonal skills, proven track record in building relationships with clients and supplies.
  • Able to manage self and others to deliver effective and efficient professional services.
  • Be flexible, proactive, detail-oriented and motivated.
  • Must be able to thrive in high pressure situations and with tight deadlines.
  • Able to present a professional image with a broad range of people from applicants and their influencers to senior managers and stakeholders
