Media & Public Relations Manager
Reports to: The Media & Public Relations Manager will report to Vice President Corporate Communications & Public Relations
Job Overview: The Media & Public Relations Manager is assigned to manage the reputation and image of the company by developing and managing all media and public relations related activities.
Responsibilities:

• Develop a media and public relations plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics.

• Develop and maintain strong national and regional media relations strategy to achieve high volume publicity, maximise brand exposure, ensure the company reputation is promoted and to deflect criticism.

• Manage media inquiries, interview requests and the flow of news about the company to the media.

• Create content for press releases, articles and keynote presentations.

• Plan and oversees press events.

• Coordinate all public relations activities such as tours, visits and other promotional events.

• Continuously building relationships with bloggers and influencers.

• Monitor, analyse and communicate media and public relations results to the Vice President on a regular basis.

• Evaluate opportunities for partnerships and sponsorships on an on-going basis.

• Understand the domestic & international market needs with the changing environment and adapt appropriate media strategies to the right target audience.

• To promote and protect the company\'s reputation and image and take the leadership in the crisis management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in marketing, advertising, mass communications or a related discipline.

• Minimum 8 - 10 years of solid working experience in media & public relations required.

• Strong relationships with both local and international media outlets.

• Strong relationships with both local and international bloggers & influencers.

• Solid experience with social media including blogs, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

• Proven track record in planning and executing successful public relations campaigns.

• Event planning experience.

• Experience in acting as a company spokesperson. Comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews.

• Exceptional English writing and editing skills.

• Good computer Knowledge/Skills (MS Word, Excel & Power point).
