Job Purpose *
To build and maintain Web Applications and Mobile Applications. An ideal candidate will be an experienced "full stack developer" who understands end-to-end stack.
Key Responsibilities *
1. Perform and review gap analysis of user needs to best understand the current trends and existing solutions conditions.
2. Work across with multiple capabilities within Group Technology (GT) on IT operational activities such as patches and health monitoring and maintenance of developed solutions, components and quality assurance for improved utilisation and capacity.
3. Plan and guide the team's development priorities, scope, design, timeline and dependencies.
4. Coordinate and manage end-to-end solution testing process such as system integration test (SIT), regression test, user acceptance test (UAT), regression test, VAPT test and Performance Test and Production deployment according to project plan timeline and to close all high severity issue during the testing phase.
5. Perform and guide defects analysis arising from projects and recommend solutions based on test scenarios.
6. Review users' application queries and problems prior to BAU handover and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
7. Oversee and prepare all technical and operational documentations prior to BAU handover.
8. Plan for all releases according to project plan and operational readiness and ensure that the relevant architecture and infrastructure are robust and stable for deployment.
9. Perform and manage the solutions support on production incidents within stipulated service level agreements (SLA).
10. Monitor, track and propose plans to address and drive closure of critical issues and defects within the project pipeline.
11. Ensure that all digital solutions development adhere to CIMB Group's established project and delivery management and SDLC methodology, processes and standards, Enterprise Architecture standards, IT governance and policies including Information Security, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning framework, applicable regulatory requirements and auditors.
12. Contribute to regional efforts and initiatives to rationalise and consolidate IT resources and derive maximum benefits.
13. Prepare regular and timely updates and reporting on development progress, production issues and risks for relevant stakeholders.
14. Coach and manage the performance deliverables and quality of the team.
Job Specification *
Qualifications
(Basic Degree/Diploma etc) Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing requirements
Relevant Work Experience o Minimum 5 years of experience in mobile application development in commercial, service-based or vendor organisation or established banks/ financial institutions

  • Extensive application development experience with clear understanding of digital solutions for banking and Consumer Banking businesses
  • Experience in adopting tools for development during code review, build/packaging process and etc.
  • Experience in solving complex problems with a high-level of understanding of technical specification
  • Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary and matrixed environment
