Role Summary:

The incumbent will partner with the Regional HR Director and local country management team in achieving the overall business goals and priorities. This will be done by providing advice and delivering programs in all areas of human resources including recruitment, performance and talent development, organizational design, rewards & compensation, and employee engagement.

This is a single contributor role with an Office Manager reporting into this role. Payroll, contracts generation, data / system maintenance and letter generation are managed separately by the HR Operations team. The workforce is around 80 employees currently with the potential to grow to 100 by early 2024 with the newly acquired business being fully integrated.

The incumbent should be a proactive communicator and change agent, who can successfully balance employee needs with business objectives to create integrated solutions.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partnering with the country management team on full spectrum of HR activities.
  • Involve in organization design review to meet the business expansion and growth.
  • Supporting workforce planning, hiring and onboarding, employee movement and employee engagement initiatives to ensure the needs of business are met.
  • Identifying talents for succession planning of critical positions and talent management initiatives.
  • Maintain and review the Company\xe2\x80\x99s HR Policy, SOPs and Employee Handbook and recommend improvements on HR practices and in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations.
  • Providing consultative support, mediating and resolving employee relations issue in accordance to the Company Policy and prevailing laws.
  • Execution of Corporate and regional HR programs for local country implementation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in human resources management or related qualifications.
  • At least 7 years of HR generalist experience in HR, preferably from a multinational organization with good track record in implementing HR programs and initiatives.
  • Familiar with Malaysia Employment Act and related statutory requirements.
  • People oriented with strong stakeholder management skills, resourceful and able to interact with individuals of all levels.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of all HR processes; strong problem-solving skills with exemplary customer service.
  • Strong generalist competencies; demonstrated business partner experience in a nimble, fluid environment.
  • Effective communication/presentation skills and ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders within the business.
