foodpanda\'s Central Operations is looking for a Manager, Human Resource (APAC)

SENIORITY LEVEL: Senior Level

FUNCTION: People Operations

LOCATION: Southgate Commercial Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

REPORTS TO: Head of People Operations

WHAT YOU WILL OWN:

• Own the entire employee lifecycle journey, from Onboarding, Performance Management, IR/ER, payroll, Taxation, Expatriate Management and relocation, etc
• Own change management conversation and champion them on behalf of the People Function for the organization
• Lead and drive all topics that fall under people services (HR Operations) and People Partners (HRBPs)
• Work together with the Leadership Team in the people strategy, design and implementation, operations planning and execution
• Lead & develop the People Services & Partnering function to meet current and future business needs through working in partnership with People Leaders to develop robust people systems, tools, processes and progressive People Team activities that add value
• Oversee the day to day operations of Workday (HRIS) system for any People related matters
• You will develop, implement, execute, maintain and improve all HR related processes and policies as the business grows and evolves. Agility and robustness is your go-to moto
• Implement continuous improvement processes to ensure that all People operational systems and processes are fit for purpose
• Provide vision and leadership to the team by managing people, performance, development and resources effectively and in line with relevant policies and procedures
• Support the development of the overall People Team to ensure the service continues to meet the needs of the group as a whole
• Support in resolving complex People policy and employee issues involving and engaging with key stakeholders, considering the wider business context and external factors
• Identify, own and manage risks arising from strategic and operational plans
• Data management and accuracy is a priority
• To perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Minimum 5 years working experience in handling the full spectrum of Human Resources, People Operations or similar
• At least 2 years of team management experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and good analytical skills. You are a wizz at Excel and reading + analyzing reports
• Working knowledge of the Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act, prevailing Human Resources practices and other relevant statutory acts
• You bring a level of technical curiosity and system orientation and have ideally worked already with HRIS systems like Workday or similar
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia
