Job Description


  • University degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or relevant disciplines
Expected (Years of) Experience
  • Minimum 4 years\' work experience - strong preference for candidates with HR leadership experience in companies with aggressive and high-volume hiring targets
  • Experience in leading support teams in shared service environments or centers of excellence is an advantage
  • Experience in logistics industry, audit or BPO environment is ideal

Responsibilities

Overall Role Purpose

The HR Business Partner is responsible in partnering with management and providing consultation in the areas of Employee and Industrial Relations, Organizational Design, Employee Development, Performance Management, Compensation, Recruitment, Talent and Succession Planning, as well as a number of other HR related processes and activities, for the continued success and growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acts as business partner/consultant providing advice in different HR disciplines and center-wide events
  • Conducts regular discussion with department head and management team on critical services like recruitment and initial handling IR/ER cases
  • Stays "close to the business" by getting a deeper understanding of skill sets needed by the team, their challenges and future plans. This may include periodically attending performance dialogue sessions of teams and management meetings where relevant.
  • Stays "close to the business" by understanding, analyzing and raising flags if necessary based on people metrics relative to attrition, medical leave, annual leave utilization, average MIP achievement, overtime, etc.
  • Acts as role model and advocate of organizational culture and values
People
  • Drive and support continuous development of people including critical experts and high potential talents
  • Champion self-learning, feedback, coaching and active communication in the team
  • Inspire team through concrete employee engagement strategies especially amidst changing work environment/models (e.g hybrid and flexible working conditions)
Stakeholders
  • Establish and sustain good relationships with all key stakeholders i.e. with SSC service line heads and managers
