front office operations, investment reporting, investment governance, credit and ESG related risk management and risk & compliance management.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Investment Fund OperationsPerform investment funds operations related dealing activities such as money market deposit, fixed deposit, foreign exchange conversion and third-party investment trade instructions, including fund subscriptions and redemptions.Seek internal approval and facilitate implementation for the investment strategy required (Deposit, MGS/ MGII, etc) to support banca guaranteed products.Liaise with Finance to ensure investment funds operations related dealing activities are executed efficiently and checked against counterparty trade confirmation.Ensure timely delivery of trade instructions to comply with trade settlement turnaround time.Assist in development and maintenance of relevant quantitative infrastructures and database to support treasury and investment operations and management.Perform any other investment related task that is assigned from time to time.Investment Front Office OperationsMonitor the value of investment funds collateral management to ensure efficient implementation and appropriate action is triggered when necessary.Assist in new Investment-Linked (IL) fund launch/ funds restructuring/ termination of funds are implemented successfully which includes working with the relevant internal and external stakeholders including Eastspring, Finance and fund management companies on the investment operational set-up.Assist in derivatives management to ensure the activities are performed in accordance to investment mandates, limits and guidelines.Liaise with appointed fund administration service provider on various investment operational matters.Work with Procurement team, Corporate Finance team and Legal team on new vendors onboarding or changes to existing service scope assessment, and contract review.Perform periodic service assessment and annual due diligence on outsourcing and material service providers including assisting in annual Related Party Transaction assessment on fund management fees.Review and ensure accuracy of the fee structure, calculation basis, amount and instructions of fee payment to external fund managers, investment related vendors and service providers.Ensure accuracy of monthly calculation on the Fund Manager Charged (\xe2\x80\x9cFMC\xe2\x80\x9d) to external fund managers.Ensure all investment related enquiries from distribution channels being address accurately and within the turnaround time.Propose and monitor annual investment and management expenses budget.Review the monthly seed capital report to ensure position is captured correctly and advise redemption of seed capital when necessary.Liaise with auditors (internal and external) and assist to collate information for regulators to support respective periodic audit and consultation requirements.Participate in system projects to improve workflows and processes.Other operational duties as and when assigned.Investment ReportingPrepare and review investment reports which includes monthly fund fact sheets, annual fund performance report, fund performance and investment exposure analysis reports for internal and external stakeholders.Assist to support Finance and Risk department reporting on investment performance and investment risk including credit and ESG related.Assist to monitor and understand investment strategy and performance of existing investment funds.Ad-hoc investment related reports preparation.Investment GovernanceAssist in proper governance of investment process and submission of proposals/reporting to EXCO, IC, ALCO and Board.Assist in periodic review and enhancement of investment policy, investment manual and investment mandates to ensure proper governance and compliance.Investment OversightAssist in conducting periodic fund performance review of all existing investment funds as per the internal framework for regulatory compliance, and periodic investment exposure reviewCredit and ESG related Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with BNM Credit Risk policy and BNM/Group ESG related policy including implementation of credit and ESG related risk assessment, measurement requirements and reporting.Assist to perform periodic credit and ESG related assessment and collaborate with stakeholders (Eastspring and internal) to ensure the implementation of credit and ESG related risk management are performed as per the regulatory guideline and internal framework.Validate credit and ESG related measurement methodology as per internal framework.Monitor credit and ESG rating and liaise with Eastspring on credit and ESG related matters especially if there is any deterioration in credit and ESG related risk.Prepare and submit credit and ESG related reports (e.g. problem credits, quarterly credit assessment summary, asset-back securities, CCPT, responsible investment) to IC, ALCO and Board.Perform annual review on Financial Institutions.Perform annual due diligence on credit risk measurement service provider.Risk & Compliance ManagementMonitor, review and recommend counterparty credit risk limits including collaborating with stakeholders (Eastspring and Finance team) to formulate agreed limits for IC and ALCO approval.Participate in the annual Business Continuity exercise, including joint Business Continuity exercise with Eastspring.Identify and escalate any risk or emerging risk issues, as appropriate.Timely reporting of incidents to Risk Management and ComplianceEnsure compliance to local LBU and group policies, as well as external regulatory guidelines and policies. Conduct periodic gap analysis and risk assessment to ensure compliance as well as recommend actions to be taken to close any gaps identified.Act as key risk controller, identify and monitor investment related risks, as well as propose appropriate measures to mitigate identified risks.Propose and monitor remedial actions for incidents, breaches, and audit closure.Job Specification:Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, Investment, Economics or and/or relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, CPA, ACCA and/or PKMC).At least 5 year(s) of working experience in fund management, insurance or banking industry.Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, including flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.Proficient in Excel Spreadsheet.Attention to details and meticulous.Strong negotiation skills handled with tact and diplomacy.Strict compliance with all applicable deadlines is expected.Ability to multi-task and highly motivated with an ability to take ownership.Possess strong work ethics, integrity and a positive attitude.Prudential is an equal opportunity employer.
