Job Description

• Responsible for month-end close activities such as to compute and post subsidy income accruals, tariff calculations, returns-to-credits etc.
• Perform accounts reconciliation and prepare for review with managers
• Prepare data required for reporting or audit per advice from Subsidy controller
• Preparation of reporting of subsidy to local authorities
• Support internal controls, SOX compliance as well as ensuring all processes and procedures are fully documented
• Identify simplification, standardisation & automation opportunities

Job Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (e.g. Bachelor's Degree, CA, CPA, ACCA) with at least 10 years working experience in Accounting
• Has 3-5 years working experience in Big 4 in Audit preferably with some experience in a reporting team for a U.S. based publicly traded company.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work hands on to support team and collaborate across global workforce.
• SAP ERP knowledge is preferred
• Ability to manage complexity and dynamic business situation
