ROLE SUMMARY

The C&B Manager is responsible to administer employee compensation and benefit programs and policies. Implement, administer, evaluate and support the design of effective Compensation and Benefits solutions, governance, tools and processes in line with Pfizer\xe2\x80\x99s Global Total Rewards philosophy and strategy, to enhance Pfizer\xe2\x80\x99s ability to attract, motivate, retain and engage a high-performing, committed workforce.

Promotes application of and supports global Compensation and Benefits strategies, processes and solutions.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Responsibilities \xe2\x80\x93

  • Serve as Local C&B Subject Matter Expert / Point of Contact for Malaysia,Singapore, Indonesia
  • Manage day-to-day C&B activities, including but not limited to: job evaluations, compensation benchmarking, job offers, comp survey submissions, benefit renewals, benefit statements, benefits management, vendor management and handling benefit queries
  • Provide consultation and operational support to HR Partners and Business Leaders in regard to compensation and benefits related matters (e.g. pay decisions, policy & guideline interpretation, etc.)
  • Act as a liaison with HR and Leaders/Managers for implementation and communication of new C&B programs and C&B programs changes as required.
  • Act on, analyze and prepare proposals for C&B related legal changes
  • Create and amend local C&B policies, practices, governance processes and procedures as well as local C&B compliance and support of fiduciary arrangement
  • Lead C&B projects and support activities and projects for which operational C&B support is required e.g.: M&A, CBA negotiations, Leadership presentations, government reporting, C&B related audits/inspections, etc.
  • C&B vendors management: serve as a point of contact for and oversee local C&B providers, monitor respective service agreements, evaluate vendor and system performance and escalate any potential issues.
  • Provide active support to the day-to-day management and projects related to the retirement benefits if applicable
  • Coordinate and roll-out the Annual Compensation Cycle process (ACC) and as ACC Country Support Lead provide guidance and support to local HR and business leadership
  • Support the design and maintenance of Global Compensation Frameworks, Management Vehicle Reviews and Severance policies, in partnership with local HR colleagues and business representatives.
  • Through combined functional expertise and creative/innovative mindset, support the implementation of innovative solutions to simplify C&B Operations processes, including options for further digitalization / automation.
  • Understand compensation and benefit trends and evolutions in the Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Participate in C&B networks, committees, associations as appropriate
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor\'s degree required in Business Administration, Human Resources or similar field
  • 5 or more years of relevant compensation and benefits experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Team oriented
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Understanding of compensation and benefit principles, tools, processes and methodologies, and be able to resolve and explain complex compensation and benefit issues
  • Innovative / creative and continuous improvement mindset with passion for increased efficiency and effectiveness through automation / digitalization
  • Capability to operate effectively in multi-cultural/international environments and influence leaders from different backgrounds and experiences
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to establish credibility, communicate authentically and consult effectively across multiple disciplines within HR and the supported business to achieve desired outcomes
  • Ability to proactively identify issues / considerations and provide strategic and tactical consultation to mitigate potential issues
