Oversee the FATCA, CRS, FIS and other regulatory reporting requirements and manage initiatives and projects in the areas of data management, data clean up, data governance and data quality.

• Lead CRS & FATCA due diligence and reporting.
• Lead assessment of regulatory changes and impacts to due diligence and reporting.
• Coordinate with IT on implementation of XML tools for CRS & FATCA reporting.
• SOP documentation in accordance to IPE standard, pertaining to CRS & FATCA reporting.
• Identify and highlight any findings related to CRS & FATCA, and work towards closure of the gaps.
• Lead regular compliance reporting in accordance to PCA requirement: CGSAT report for PCA - annual governance certification process to determine if LBU is compliant with the internal policies (and associated requirements).
• Lead AEOI report for PCA on track count of reportable account by jurisdiction.
• Lead quarterly FATCA reporting to PCA to assess the effectiveness of LBU controls against each control statement.
• Support in customer notification on missing TIN, in accordance to LHDN requirements.
• Implement controls and compliance metrics to reduce data issues and improve data quality.
• Performs data management works that include but are not limited to SQL database, SAS, Excel files, CSV files and data lake.
• Monitor and review data for integrity across various systems.
• Support additional ad-hoc cross-functional initiatives, when required.

Qualifications

• Possess a degree in in relevant discipline
• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in FATCA and CRS compliance
• Good communication skills and able to interact well with all levels.
• Ability to formulate or interpret guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Experience

• Possessed experience in Compliance at Insurance to aid in understanding regulatory purpose. Translation into report requirement and provide advisory to Ops when required in relation to CRS/FATCA matters.
• Experience with data analysis, quality, cleaning, and extraction / validation tools

Knowledge

• Knowledge of insurance CRS/FATCA regulatory guidelines.
• Experience in data processing using workflow management such as Alteryx or ETL tools.
• Experience with BI visualization such as Power BI and Qlik Sense.
• Hands-on with SQL Queries and Python will added advantage.
• Basic knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
• Project and change management experience is a plus.
