Together with category Managers, responsible for project initial inquiries and budgetary quotes . Responsible for cross-site concept savings projects' execution and follow-through. Analysis of equipment and material cost structure (should cost, best can do, value analysis, linear performance pricing) or database for cost breakdown. Drive standardisation in R&D and c onsideration of the material toolkit . Development of supplier technology , process and material landscapes . Project Lead for Design for Sourcing (DfS) activities for the assigned category. Your ProfileYou are best equipped for this task if you have: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics or any equivalent field. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry. The procurement engineer is tasked with championing and driving concept savings across all IFX backend sites. The procurement engineer will be accountable for the overall concept savings target for the assigned category. Owns activities to enable early involvement to ensure competitive leverage and landscape for IFX . Leads and utilise design for sourcing methods playbook to drive for maximum savings.
