POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

• Introduce new way of working to optimise performance of divisions under MA Sepang
• Strengthen the project management method in MA Sepang
• Inculcate project management best practices in MA Sepang

ESSENTIALK POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Institutionalising robust project performance tracking systems / tools / processesy
• Advice the management teams on the best use of project management methodologies and best practices
• Support the creation and improvement of processes, procedures and tools for project management and continuous improvement
• Coordinate and collaborate with team members and business owners to deliver project according to plan
• Collaborate with Human Resource in to build cross-functional project leadership capabilities, strength and competencies
• Facilitate the division in divisional balanced scorecard development
• Coordinate the planning of the department\'s programmes & projects and management of inter-dependencies including oversight of any risks and issues arising
• Establish long term operational objective, organizational structure and staffing requirement for the department
• Supervise the work of employees and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Key Challenges

• Assisting senior management in resolving complex issues for projects / initiatives
• Managing senior level management expectation in terms of project monitoring and reporting
• Standardizing project management methodology (template, approach, process and etc)
• Acceptance of stakeholders to the new approach

• Experience in managing complex project (

RM 1million value) * Work confidently within a group and results oriented.

• Experience in managing a team with minimum of 5 members
• Possess leadership qualities with strong analytical skills and strong presentation and communication skills
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, highly influential, convincing and strong negotiation skills
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal, to employees of all level
• A self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
• Meticulous, detailed, well-organized, able to work independently, willing to learn and take on added responsibilities
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Computer literate.

Relevant Industries

Unique Requirement

• Experience in Transformation Office (TMO) or Project Management Office (PMO) or similar set up
• Certified in project management methodology (MSP, PRINCE2,P3O and etc)

Internal

• Degree with minimum 3 years relevant experience in Senior Executive role
• Diploma with minimum 5 years relevant experience in Senior Executive role
• Certificate with minimum 7 years relevant experience in Senior Executive role

External

• Degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience.

Education

• Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Engineering / Information Technology (IT) or similar fields
• Master degree would be an added advantage
