Role Responsibilities The Proximity Operations Manager is responsible for the ecosystem of the Bank\'s self-service terminals (SSTs) which covers hardware & software performance, transaction routing & network connectivity, operational governance, and third-party service provider management. Responsibilities . Business . - Responsible for managing and maintaining efficient SSTs operational processes to continuously serve the Bank\'s clients. - Respond to and provide resolution to client\'s issues encountered while using our Bank\'s SSTs in accordance with established guidelines as well as department procedures. - Manage projects to increase usage, reduce operating costs, decrease fraud and risk exposure. - Awareness and understanding of the self-service terminal latest technology and development in the financial industry both locally and internationally. Processes . - Accountable for SSTs service quality, network connectivity and scheduling of cash balancing and replenishment service. - Responsible for reconciliation of SSTs, replenishment of SST\'s supplies, handling of funds, and accurate completion of SST related reporting. - Manage multiple monitoring tools and monitor the status of the SSTs. - Engage with internal and external FLM & SLM vendors to ensure timely manner of SST maintenance and uptime performance - Ensure fulfilment of vendor management requirements in accordance with Third Party Management and Information & Cyber Security. - Responsible for ensuring deployment & decommissioning of terminals are in accordance with Group\'s policies and requirements Risk Management . - Ability to interpret new internal or external policies, guidelines, and mandates, and identify potential gap to put in place appropriate controls and measures. - Work in collaboration with risk and control teams. Governance . - R esponsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group and Country directives on SSTs to deliver effective governance, oversight, and controls and, where necessary, oversee changes in these areas. - Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role. Key stakeholders . - Consumer, Private and Business Banking (CPBB) Business and Operations stakeholders - Country Technology, Network, ATM PSS, Country Security, Property & Facility Management - Supply Chain Management, Legal, and Shariah teams - Group ATM & Switching Hive, PMO and ICS teams - External stakeholders: BNM, PayNet, and other engaged third-party service providers Qualifications . Training, licenses, memberships and certifications - Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent with 10+ years or more of years of total experience. - Knowledge in architecture governance and processes. - Good analytical and communication skills to understand requirements / data ingestion framework and to articulate solutions / feedbacks. - Adaptive to the aggressive timelines in delivery. - Self-motivated & able to work independently. - Strong verbal & written communication.
