Objectives of the Position

• Responsible for the regional planning activities for Rest of Asia for three business units
• Optimize supply chain distribution set ups in Rest of Asia countries
• Responsible of Supply Chain KPI steering & monitoring to ensure business is on track and achieve their targets for respective business units & products

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

• Responsible for regional planning and distribution together with sales & marketing as well as Joint ventures (JV) partners
• In charge of regional coordination with JVs, tolling companies as well as internal & external customers
• Responsible for regional Dinch & specialty monomer coordination with BASF SE
• Drive FOB export coordination
• Lead cross regional planning + warehouse monitoring and coordination
• Support to optimize the overall logistics costs within Rest of Asia countries towards a more competitive set up, e.g., by evaluating and benchmark domestic freights costs within the countries with the focus on increasing payload or reduction of truck freight costs
• Lead the tender process for Rest of Asia for parcel, tank container as well as liner shipping
• Contribute to SC distribution topics within the countries
• Responsible to monitor and prepare reports on the respective products & countries SC KPIs
• Support at OTC related and business model topics
• Support countries and regional ad-hoc requests
• Gatekeeper of 3rd party PO

Education

• Bachelor degree in business administration or familiar areas

Working Experience

• At least 5 years experience in the area of supply chain management
• Pro-found understanding in supply chain distribution set ups and processes
• Experience in customer service and planning in an international company for more than 5 years or relevant work experience in SCM/sales/controlling/, chemical industry background is a plus
• Chemical industry background preferred
• Proactive, can work independently and in teams

Technical & Professional Knowledge

• Practical knowledge in SAP
• High analytical skills
• Pro-found experience in Microsoft tools (Excel, Powerpoint)
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English, Chinese is a plus
• Team spirit and high willingness to collaborate across different functions
