We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team in the role of Manager Reporting & Operations Support working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets. Role Purpose
  • Business-aligned, customer-servicing with the primary objective of driving operational excellence through consolidation, simplification and continuous improvement of processes
  • To devise and analyze Collections related Management Information (MI) for all WPB products and make recommendations based upon the MIS to support effective collections management.
  • To direct and manage the team in order to ensure all tasks are completed in an effective and timely manner for accurate reporting.
  • Supporting various Analytical projects and deliverables in the domain of Collections and Underwriting Service
  • To support operations in carrying out the required responsibilities.
Principal Responsibilities:
  • The central point for generating, collating and interpreting MI.
  • Responsible for NPL month end reconciliation and reporting.
  • Reviewing and ensuring provision computation for Secured & Unsecured product are performed in an accurate & timely manner.
  • Ensuring all maintenance for new write off, write down, downgrading, upgrading and other miscellaneous maintenance instructed by operation team are performed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Review and manage overall department direct and indirect cost.
  • Resolving of all MI issues raised by CRU workforce.
  • Contact point for all other departments/CRU units.
  • Central collation and submission of returns and confirmations to related departments.
  • Delivering timely updates by other departments required by CRU, HUB, DBS, HR, BSE.
  • To provide adequate training and systems by regular counseling/guidance through the appropriate appraisal systems and constantly motivating for enhanced performance.
  • Identify training needs and coordinating training needs for CRU. Develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
  • Managing TAT\xe2\x80\x99s to ensure that outlines SLA is met at all times.
  • Ensuring policies guidelines and audit recommendations are adhered to.
  • Engage business/department to ensure ownership and remediation of internal/external audit and regulatory requirements pertaining to information security.
  • Ensuring all NPL reporting in new classification, provisioning, write-off, write down, upgrading, payments, recoveries are submitted to Senior Management, EXCO, BNM, GRCA through Risk & FIN in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Identify and manage information security risks that are specific to their line of business/ function as directed by BIRO.
  • Provide regular reporting to the BIRO and management on risk and project progress.
  • Participate in all relevant conferences and meeting within BIRO & ISR structure.
  • Participate in all implementation of all relevant projects/initiatives as directed by the BIRO.

Requirements
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of proven data analysis and/or IM experience, or equivalent.
  • Strong programing knowledge of SAS, SQL, Web based data visualization technologies or other equivalent analytical tools.
  • Must be a self-starter and will be required to work under minimal supervision, but with firm deadlines.
  • Good organizational, analytical, problem-solving and verbal, written communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge on Statistical Analysis concepts and application.
  • Capability in data analysis and its interpretation to credit and collections performance; Able to interpret MIs, attention to detail
  • Capability in handling portfolio risk management, scoring techniques and automated collection tools are highly technical;
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision;
  • Resourceful and embrace changes;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills;
  • A good team player with the right attitude to be self-initiative, hardworking, willing to accept changes and flexible working style.
  • Post Graduate degree in quantitative disciplines (Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Management Science) would be an advantage.
