JOB PURPOSEThe overall purpose of this job is to promote and ensuring a healthy risk culture within Agrobank\'s takaful subsidiary namely, Agro Takaful Limited. It forms part of the oversight function which is embedded in Agrobank\'s Risk Management Division. The role works as a second line of defense, in partnership with the Management of Agro Takaful Limited (as the first line of defense) to coordinate its risk management process.This position is responsible for the development and evolvement of the risk management framework of Agro Takaful Limited and provision of assurance to stakeholders, with primary focus, in the beginning, on contagion risks to Agrobank arising from Agro Takaful Limited\'s business. The individual in this position will require a thorough understanding of the business and be involved in cross-functional interactions with various business functions.

• To provide advisory support of risk management policies, processes and systems to facilitate the subsidiary\'s operation within Enterprise Risk Management Framework and all other takaful and operational risks.
• Collaborate with business units and other functional teams to identify, measure, control and report on the subsidiary\'s risk exposures, ensuring risks are managed within the subsidiary\'s risk appetite and risk limits.
• Oversees in the risk management function in its independent oversight of risks across the subsidiary. In carrying out these responsibilities, the incumbent shall report to Agrobank\'s Chief Risk Officer and the subsidiary\'s Risk Management Board Committee which has the authority to act independently, to access necessary resources and information, and to follow-up on action taken by the management in response to identified issues and related recommendations in Risk Management Oversight.
