& Summary A career within Risk and Compliance services, will provide you the opportunity to work with a team that provides clients with extensive risk and controls technical knowledge and sector specific experience. You\'ll have the opportunity to develop a holistic approach to risk that protects businesses, facilitates strategic decision making and enhances efficiency by assisting management in the assessment of project risks and controls. Our Risk and Compliance Generalist - Practice Support team helps PwC assess, design and develop solutions to manage diverse risks. You\'ll help PwC develop a consistent, coordinated, and sustainable strategy. The MYVN RISQ (Risk, Independence, Solution and Quality) team in Malaysia collaborates closely with the RISQ team in Vietnam - we forge close ties with frequent communication, sharing and collaboration of RISQ related matters. Our main functions are to effectively manage and mitigate regulatory, independence and reputational risk so as to protect the firm\'s brand and value. This is achieved through development, dissemination and monitoring of policies, procedures and programs. In addition, we partner and interact with the practice to promote and embed a strong quality culture within the professional services which the firm offers, taking into account the regulated and business environment which we operate in. The goal of RISQ is to anticipate strategic risks and drive quality and independence compliance across MYVN. Key Responsibilities: Solid understanding of PwC Global Independence Policy (GIP) and local regulations, and independent monitoring processes to identify and monitor independence risks. Lead in independence consultations and reviews. Develop action plans and provide guidance to team members who are monitoring independence processes and performing compliance testing Developing and maintaining detailed project plans to track progress and oversee outcome and continuous improvement modeling. Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques reporting and escalating to senior management as needed. Effectively identify and communicate emerging and/or changing risk and related control opportunities and enhancements to senior management. Maintaining awareness of key process changes, system changes, policies and key independence exposure and how they impact the firm\'s independence. Assessment of the effectiveness of monitoring and control programs and any risks arising. Integrating the MYVN RISQ Independence Office in managing independence compliance to achieve our strategic objectives. Preferred skills Bachelor Degree in Auditing or Finance or other relevant degree. At least 7 years relevant working experience in executive roles in the areas of risk management in multinational companies. Experienced in designing, implementing or running risk management or quality management systems. Understanding the broader audit and non-audit services, regulation landscape as well as technology developments and digitalization trends. Experienced in delivering complex risk management projects is a plus Have strong track record in leading team to achieve objective outcomes Strong interpersonal skills to resolve problems in a professional manner Able to lead teams and be a coach and mentor to junior team team members Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to create clear and concise summary documents of on-going investigations, and provide detailed instructions to team members. Skilled in writing, logical thinking, problem solving, analytical Team player Proactive to learn and to continuously develop technical knowledge Digitally inclined (familiar with Google Suite tools, presentations, etc).
