Develop policies and procedures of the Company\'s/project\'s existing operational processes and systems.
Analyze new legislation, best management practices & improve performance standards.
Review, comment and advise the Client in relation to safety and health management and traffic management in the tender documents prepared by consultants.
Develop project Safety & Health framework and management system and lead the execution by the Contractors.
Develop, plan and coordinate project\'s safety and health programs aligned with the current legal and project requirements as well as ISO 45001 standards for Contractor\'s implementation.
Drive the Contractor to implement safety and health program as required by legal and the project.
Drive and ensure safety and health related audit gaps closures and comply with standards across the entire project.
Ensure compliance of the legal and other requirements by the Contractors.
Develop and maintain safety and health database management and preparation of associated safety and health reports to interested parties.
Convey data trends, results and potential implications of safety and health data to stakeholders.
Proposed safety and health related initiatives and proactive actions to enable continuous improvement across the entire project.
Liaise with related safety and health authorities i.e. DOSH, CIDB, SRB etc. and other project stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health or a related field.
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in safety & health roles within the civil engineering industry, with a focus on road and bridge construction and maintenance.
In-depth knowledge of Malaysian HSE regulations and industry best practices.
Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is highly desirable.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
