POSITION SUMMARY:
Achieve the Group\xe2\x80\x99s corporate vision and business objectives by improving profitability through careful strategic planning, positioning in the appropriate markets and enhancement of business operations for the Financial Services Division of the Group. The Group primarily operates its Financial Services business through its fully owned subsidiaries \xe2\x80\x93 Maax Factor Sdn Bhd (MFSB) and MAA Credit Berhad (MAAC). MFSB\xe2\x80\x99s business is trade receivable financing or factoring for SMEs and MAAC provides various forms of funding from short term to long term loans.

Tasks

  • To solicit for new business and sales of factoring facilities to Corporate/SME Clients in order to achieve the company\xe2\x80\x99s asset and profitability target.
  • Prepare and pro-actively execute sales plans for prospective clients, using internal marketing as well as self-set appointments, carry out sales call visits where necessary, prospecting and early engagement with new clients.
  • To plan, organize various identified marketing and promotional activities to promote and enhance the participation of the Company schemes among the Private Sector SMEs, GLC, MNC and specific preferred sectors of the Company.
  • To implement various collaboration programs with government agencies, trade associations and reputable private companies to increase the accessibility of Corporates/SMEs to the Company\xe2\x80\x99s facilities.
  • Responsibilities will include evaluating the financial status of potential customers, monitoring existing clients, performing risk assessments, writing detailed reports, and making informed decisions while extending factoring facilities.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build profitable relationships with clients from their portfolio, to deepen and broaden account relationships with the objective to increase factoring business volume and maximize profitability.
  • To coordinate and assist in the development and improvement of factoring documentation in-line with Malaysian standards, laws and regulations with your superior.
  • Attends ( if necessary) in credit committee meetings on credit evaluation and credit risk.
  • Supervises and train subordinates (if any).
  • To execute any other duties as and when required by Management or immediate superior.
  • Cross Selling of the Group\xe2\x80\x99s other Financial Products and Services (where applicable).
Requirements

  • Degree/Professional Qualifications in Business, Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics or other related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 - 10 years experience in Banking and/or other Financial Institutions, in a Sales, Marketing and/or Business Development role. Those with experience in a Factoring Company and/or Commercial/SME Banking have an added advantage.
  • Language : Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia, spoken and written.
  • Competent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office software particularly in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
