Role Summary: Support the IT infrastructure (network, telecommunications, basic software, hardware, servers) and applications at local site. Work experience -3 years
Responsibilities:
1.0 Main Task
1.1. Provide site-based infrastructure management service under the direction of the central infrastructure Management team [Averis].
1.2. Provide IT facility management services including managing first level physical site servers / communication rooms, UPS, PABX, management of physical assets [good delivery, disposal, etc], and software media.
1.3. Manage the PC & laptop fulfillment activities including desktop provision, thin clients, upgrades, standard maintenance, standard PC moves [IMACS] and hardware support.
1.4. Ensure that Site IT Delivery Team Leads and Analyst are responsive to customer requests, provide issue documentation, resolution and escalation as necessary.
1.5. **Provide leadership and direction to the Site IT Delivery team leads. Clearly define and communicate roles and expectations to Site IT delivery team members.
1.6. Work with local RGE companies [sales offices etc] to ensure that centralized IT management processese are adopted, implemented and maintained properly.
1.7. Act as a point of escalation for complaints and service issues to ensure swift resolution and customer satisfaction. Ensure customers and their employees are aware of the official complaint procedure.
1.8. Manage the procurement and asset management of IT resources. Ensure that corporate licensing and purchasing procedures are followed.
2.0 Service Management and Continuous Improvement
2.1. Contribute to the development and maintenance of Service Level Agreement and charging mechanisms for the service provided.
2.2. Manage and lead the Site IT Delivery teams to deliver IT service within agreed service levels and budgetary guidelines. Ensure that failed service levels are escalated, analysed, resolved and followed-up on a timely basis.
2.3. Develop and and implement operational continuous improvement, service effiency, initiatives, infrastructure improvement and infrastructure rationalization to better serve RGE business needs.
3.0 Planning and Controlling
3.1. Plan and manage the overall budget of the Site IT Delivery teams including the recovery of the costs.
3.2. Maintain cost control within budget expenditure levels. Identify, recommend and implement measures to improve efficiency, service delivery and operational costs.
4.0 Resource Management
4.1. Recruit and develop an optimum number of skilled IT professionals to form the core competence team that provides professional and quality IT services in a costs-efficient model.Ensure that resource strategy is flexible enough to response to demand variations.
4.2. Manage a decentralized team of business IT and infrastructure support personnel, in providing site-based IT services [for sales offices etc], under the direction of central Infrastructure management teams. Ensure efficient scheduling and deployment of resources to critical and remote sites to deliver IT support and IMACS.
4.3. Ensure that the team is well-updated with technological advancements and the organisation's developments, in order to effectively meet the company's challenging and fast-changing busines demands.
4.4. Be a Manager, Mentor, and Motivator to the human resource capital that you manage.
4.5. Ensure adequate and accurate time reporting.
