Provision of solutions analytical support for implementation

Liaise with DHL customers and business development staff to understand customer supply chain requirement & pain points
Collect & analyse data; design, develop, model and evaluate optimal logistics operating solutions for customers by Utilizing appropriate software/tools
Clearly outline solutions in appropriate formats for presentation to customers highlighting DHLs value propositions
Accurate business decision making/judgement, recommendations, resulting in the achievement of strategic advantages against the competitors
To develop, perform and review methods or techniques that directly impacts the processes or productivity of DSC
Lead a team of SCS members to support and develop world-class innovative logistics solutions that exceed target sector/customers\xe2\x80\x99 requirements
Provide customers specific advice/information to BD Lead To facilitate business performance review, evaluation & budgeting and also support to devise, fine tune and implement overall sales
Support Head of SCS in project allocation/prioritization as required
Provide Industrial Engineering expertise, techniques and methodologies/structure to direct the DSC operation team in improving service, processes, productivity and profitability
Provide guidance to subordinates in complex solution design
Provide coaching and mentor Sales team for solution concept enrichment and related skills enhancement
Achieve mutual agreement on working processes and responsible to implement and audit
Share and present new capabilities achieved by solution design
Ensure that cost model is fully and accurately interpreted and Review with Finance department
Identify selling rate and revenue in finance model to BD and implementation team
Correct BCA accordingly if original assumptions and work scope change
Ensure to deliver and explain overall solution and costing items precisely to project team
Gain SCS Head, Operational Head and BD team\xe2\x80\x99s buy-off as appropriate for the proposed solution
Enable to facilitate communication channel within project team regarding to solutions arguments
Enable to adjust project solution and costing budget in accordance with actual situation/condition
Participate project kick-off meeting to follow on solution design issues during implementation period
Requirements
Job Requirements :
Degree in Engineering (meriting is Industrial) specializing in Logistics / Supply Chain
+5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in supply chain business model analysis, warehouse operation, facility design and costing/budget evaluation, preferable in Logistics business of which at least 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Logistics Solution Design. Meriting \xe2\x80\x93 experience in:
Freight management experience
Logistics operations experience
Manufacturing operations management
Consulting experience
Automation experience
Must be conversant and have experience in warehousing, transportation and broader supply chain topics to develop operationally feasible solu
Must have exposure to (and preferably subject matter expertise in) some of the following topics: storage medium, material handling equipment, space analysis, manpower analysis, inventory/SKU analysis, operational key performance indicators, continuous improvement initiatives, transportation methods, packaging, secondary operations, costing and automation
Must be an advanced user of tools such as Microsoft Excel and/or Access, Power BI to perform complex data analysis
Experience in at least one modelling/simulation/CAD tool such as Paragon, CAPS, CAST, I2, Manugistics, AutoCAD or CLASS is desirable. Equivalent operations experience maybe considered in lieu of modelling experience in some instance
Should have experience with process flow diagrams, time studies, methods/work study and/or other performance analysis methodologies
Should be proficient in PowerPoint and have experience with customer presentations and strong communication skills
