Role Purpose: Hands-on leadership for the holistic coordination and execution of public relations, branding events, and content marketing across the Setel app, towards delivering company goals, increased sales, revenue, and customers. YOu will be involved in ensuring consistent branding, strategic intent, and differentiation from competition across various channels toward reaching, winning, and building lasting customer relationships. You will be directly responsible for the outcomes of the strategic communications team and its deliverables & processes in their entirety, as well as the governance of Setel\'s branding. guidelines, voice & tone cross-functionally within Setel, as well as, external stakeholders and when applicable, agencies as well. As a manager for the strategic communications team, you will own overall execution across all Setel app business lines: Fuel: Fue, convenience store & digital fleet refueling FinTech: e-Wallet for online & offline payments & DuitNow QR Mobility: Parking, motor takaful/insurance, road tax, EV charging, auto assistance In This Role You Will: Lead the development and execution of the overall public relations, branding events, and content marketing calendar of Setel encompassing 3 business lines i.e. Fuel, FinTech, and Mobility. Lead, coached, and align the strategic communications & event teams allocated across business lines, connecting the dots towards ensuring consistent branding, strategic intent, and differentiation from competition towards shaping Setel\'s brand perception and positioning. Own processes & quality across public relations, branding events, and content marketing functions, encompassing press content (press releases, media announcements, etc) writing and dissemination, branding event execution (Organisation, logistics, external stakeholder/attendee alignments, marketing collaterals, and overall end-to-end coordination), content marketing (Content prioritisation, SEO keyword mapping), ROI decision making, and cross-functional collaboration and hands-offs internally within marketing, cross-functionally or to external partners or stakeholders. Oversee, review, and if required, drive and execute public relations, branding events, and content marketing across relevant initiatives to deliver company goals. Tracking the effectiveness of various public relations initiatives and channels (Brand monitoring & sentiment), branding event performance metrics, content marketing performance, and managing course corrections as required via working in close collaboration with team members, and cross-functionally as needed. Collaborate closely with marketing team members - marketing communications, graphic design, customer lifecycle marketing, performance marketing, social media - and cross-functionally with other functions - commercial, data, product management, and more towards campaign execution success. Own company KPIs/OKRs for the 3 Setel app business lines across Fuel, Fintech, and Mobility, making contributions to the effective execution of marketing campaigns and brand strategy across the marketing communications team. Align marketing tactics like Public Relations, Brand Events & Content Marketing with HOD & business owners and ensure successful implementation of strategic marketing plans with clear success criteria, measurements, and reporting on results. Keep up with competitor offerings & brand positioning to inform Setel\'s execution. Keep up with the latest industry trends and best practices in public relations, branding, content marketing, and corporate communications across Mobility, Retail, FinTech, e-Wallet, and more. Assist with any related tasks, projects, and other assigned duties as and when deemed necessary. You\'re A Great Fit If You Have: Bachelor\'s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum 2 or more years of experience in leading or managing marketing teams with team members focused on public relations. Minimum 5 or more years of experience in strategic or corporate communications, public relations, or content marketing, preferably in a related industry or company. Amazing public relations writing skills, capable of bringing a media-ready press release from zero to one in a day. Strong leadership and people management skills with experience in coaching and guiding teams. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, deeply empathise, and understand customer considerations, to drive informed marketing decisions and strategies. Strong stakeholder management skills in aligning plans forward, timelines, and results. Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, cross-functionally, and with external partners. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Able to adapt and perform in a fast-moving environment. Experience working in digital or technology product companies is an added advantage. Proficiency in brand monitoring tools, PR software, and event management platforms is a plus. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
