Main Tasks

  • Lead the Technoledge function in KL hub for the design and development of HR knowledge management, digital technologies, analytics (e.g., workforce analytics) in HR People Clusters.
  • As the key representative of Asia Pacific in the Global Digitalization and Process Optimization workstream to identify, plan and implement Digitalization measures and to work on Process Optimization topics.
  • Provide strategic leadership and tactical management to drive process improvements, automation and digitalization measures which will be rolled out predominantly in the GB KL Hub for achieving the efficiency target.

ain Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
Lead the Technoledge function
:
  • Lead the Asia Pacific Technoledge team to provide HR digitalization services and to develop customized digital solutions to support the transformation of Global Business (GB) Services - People Cluster Asia Pacific hub.
  • Keep currents on emerging trends/technology and best practices and analyze impacts from HR technology industry trends. Improve the hub\xe2\x80\x99s digital impact by introducing new technologies and exploit their full potential for BASFs business.
  • Drive the concept development and implementation of HR knowledge management, internal and external knowledge sharing and learning mechanisms in supporting the development of knowledge-based competency teams in the hub.
  • Apply and integrate advanced and predictive analysis, people metrics and reporting to develop strategic and operational insights for workforce decision-making.

Asia Pacific key representative in the GB Build Digitalization and Process Optimization workstream
:
  • Act as the primary contact for People Cluster in Asia Pacific regarding Workstream Process Reengineering, to bring in strategic and visionary view for process optimization and digitalization within the cluster by challenging the status-quo and drive for change.
  • Be the sparring partner with Global Digital team in leading the identification and implementation of Process Optimization within GB Build. Create digital roadmaps jointly with the other clusters which contribute to the GB Build target.
  • Facilitate and coordinate the workshops and project implementations in Asia Pacific, ensure excellent collaboration among multiple partners in the workstream for successful implementation of digitalization and automation projects.

GB Target Efficiencies
:
  • Support the transition workstreams by implementing the locally required IT/technology solutions required to enable a transition (non-functional requirements).
  • Create a new digital infrastructure for GB services through the best of breed SaaS-solutions and add-ons. Provide technical expertise during opportunity scoping, present technology recommendations, evaluation and selection process of new HR Technology functionality and vendors, including vendors\xe2\x80\x99 future capabilities.
  • Engage few Human Resource technology projects, leading the initiatives while serving as a Subject Matter-Expert on specific topics e.g. HR business process, scalable HR solutions implementation, workflow and analytics. Provide specific guidance to ensure the projects/initiatives focus with strong business case (FTE reduction, measurable efficiencies), progress on target and work is accomplished on time and of the highest quality standards.
  • Partner across the organization to champion HR Technology roadmap that support the business strategies and objectives. Provide support on feasibility studies, solution reviews, proposal preparation and presentation of innovative and disruptive ideas.

Job Requirements
  • Education : University degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field
  • Minimum 10 years in Technology management within HR strategic partnering, HR program management and HR operations
  • Strong consulting experience and business analytical skills to gather business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis and setup business process re-engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including clear articulation of complex messages and requirements
  • Wide ranging experience with technical and business/functional concepts for the full life cycle of Human Capital Management
  • Has minimum 2 years of experience managing projects and lead them to successful completion through influence, partnering and collaboration, including colleagues who are not under direct supervisory control
  • Experience in quantitative HRIS analysis with demonstrated aptitude in data analytics, queries, metrics, and reporting
  • Excellent working knowledge of HR digitalization, automations and systems implementation
  • Experience in various HR systems modules, technical and reporting tooll.
  • Good understanding of system integration technologies e.g. Web services, APIs, API management platform (APIgee/SAP CPI) and/or software development.
  • Exposure to Enterprise Architecture especially SAP platform is a plus
