Job Description

:

: * Design and synthesize proprietary products, execute process development and optimization protocols.

• Develop and implement Specialty Chemicals Technology R&D programs, manage strategic R&D collaboration, develop institutional capabilities, implement knowledge management and innovation, and manage key stakeholders. Manage R&D project objectives, deliverables, detailed strategy, target, and costs.
• Manage the development and implementation of R&D programs by following the established Technology Management System and internal Project Management processes through consistent review of progress (tracking, analyzing & reporting), optimization of manpower and facilities including collaboration/alliances, prudent control of budget and cost reduction, rigorous risk assessment and mitigation plan.
• Manage collaboration with appropriate research institutions/organizations by assessing and leveraging their leadership positioning, area of specialization, and cost-effectiveness and harness Institutional Capabilities for the respective programs through R&D priorities and programs.
• Perform and monitor the development of innovations and inventions for the respective program to ensure attainment of IP positions for R&D projects, supporting and fostering effective working relationships and rapport with business and management institutions, technology partners, and service providers.

Qualification:

Minimum qualification is PhD in chemistry or organic chemistry

Requirement: * Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in specialty chemicals or chemicals industry

• Minimum of 5 Publications
• Experience in Industrial and care, surfactants, & personal care, functional ingredients, specialty films, specialty polymers & coatings.
• Experience in food & feed, flavors and fragrances, proteins, prebiotics, probiotics.
