JOB SUMMARY
Overall responsible in managing and executing all activities related to employees Total Rewards which comprises of compensations and benefits, payroll management, HRIS systems, employees\xe2\x80\x99 appraisal and other special projects or initiatives related to Total Rewards execution. The role is also responsible for planning, administering and executing strategy of Recruitment including manpower planning and employees Learning & Development (LeAD) under the Total Education Plans including Talent Management and Competency profiling.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and make necessary recommendations to update any changes of HR related policies in line with labor law and latest Company\xe2\x80\x99s policy.
  • Manage, monitor and execute Total Rewards Strategies and policies as per the Department plan and KPIs.
  • Initiate and execute Performance Management Systems/Appraisal Systems as per the REL Global Direction and/or Company\xe2\x80\x99s Plan.
  • Initiate and prepare Compensation and Benchmarking study to ensure overall total rewards are competitive.
  • Prepare, recommend and coordinate proposal for employees\xe2\x80\x99 compensation and recognition initiatives such as annual increment (MI), bonus (STI), promotions, upgrading, etc., to be approved by/presented to the Top Management.
  • Manage, monitor and verify overall payroll data accuracy, timeliness and performance efficiency including statutory payments and other related payroll.
  • Manage and monitor effectiveness and/or efficiency of the overall employees\xe2\x80\x99 benefits such as medical insurance renewal (inpatient and outpatient), SOCSO claims, employee welfare, incentives, rewards programs, etc.,
  • Identify, plan and propose new recruitment techniques, channels and effective strategies in order to attract right talents for the right jobs as well as providing supervisory role to the recruitment team.
  • Manage and ensure the team is able to achieve its overall recruitment plan and initiatives in terms of lead time, quality of candidates and within specific salary range of the job grade.
  • Ensure appropriate recruitment tools and methodology are executed as per the Company\xe2\x80\x99s guidelines (i.e personal profiling analysis, technical test and any other recruitment assessment for making the right selection of candidate).
  • Manage execution of the staff Onboarding Programme (Induction) for new hires are and ensure its effectiveness.
  • Monitor implementation of the Visa Application Process for Expatriate are carried out as per the approval process and coordinate within reasonable timeframe.
  • Plan, execute and administer overall Learning and Development (LeAD) programs identified in the Training plans and framework. Work closely with HODs and technical lead for technical and operators\xe2\x80\x99 trainings.
  • Plan and propose overall Training Calendar based on the training needs identified by HODs/Supervisors.
  • Manage and ensure all necessary information and training records are captured and maintained in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Evaluate effectiveness of the training program and provide necessary analysis and recommendation for improvement.
  • Prepare all necessary analysis and report for recruitment, training and other related areas of portfolios for next course of actions and improvement.
  • Prepare and recommend relevant financial budget of each items in the portfolio and monitor its budget utilization for control.
  • Interact and deal effectively with internal (employees) and external stakeholders (vendors, suppliers, agencies, government bodies, etc.,).
  • Build good rapport and networking with the relevant Government Bodies and related agencies to gain benefits in job assignments in terms of financial support, cost saving, building image and reputation for the benefits of Company\xe2\x80\x99s business opportunities.
  • Provide and communicate effectively on any HR related info and advice to internal stakeholders to ensure employees are well informed on the HR related policies and guidelines.
  • Perform all other related duties as and when assigned by the Supervisor/HODs.
