Job Description
Key Responsibilities * Implementation of IFRS 17: Lead the implementation process, including system testing, data migration, and policy development.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures in accordance with IFRS 17 requirements.
- Reconciliation and Analysis: Ensure accurate reconciliations between IFRS accounting systems, ledgers, and disclosures.
- Coordination and Communication: Act as a liaison between local teams, group offices, and external consultants on financial accounting matters.
- Audit Support: Provide support during audits, including preparation of necessary documentation and responding to auditor queries.
- Training and Development: Train and mentor team members on IFRS 17 standards and practices.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist with various financial accounting and reporting tasks as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Actuarial
- Experience: 5 to 7 years insurance experience in actuarial functions
- Skills: Strong understanding of IFRS and IAS standards, particularly those related to insurance contracts. Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills..
