Job Description


Job Purpose

Responsible for the following areas:

  • Workforce planning: Developing, defining and implementing the effective, short and long term workforce/manpower plans for the business.
  • HR analytics: Gathering, structuring, analyzing, and reporting on HR/workforce data to provide valuable insights for better decision making.
Job Responsibilities

Workforce Planning, Budgeting & Cost Monitoring: Plan and ensure smooth execution and completion of the Company\'s Annual manpower budgeting (AOP) activities.
  • Responsible in creating manpower and workforce planning models.
  • Develop and gain agreement to an overall manpower plan for The Company which sets out the human resources requirements to staff the organization and provide for the necessary skills and competency base to successfully realize the business plans.
  • Provide Department with background information for formulating short, medium and long term, manpower plans to fulfill manpower requirements.
  • Discuss Departments\' forecasts, estimate the cost along with recruitment function and submit consolidated budget for final approval to contribute to the preparation of the budget for the section.
  • Along with Organisation Design unit, assess initiatives that may impact manpower requirements, i.e. level of business operations and growth plans.
Job Responsibilities (Con\'t)
  • Periodically monitor manpower productivity and report on manpower activities and review actual manpower movements against planned to ensure that plans are adhered to and variations are identified, and the necessary action is taken.
HR Analytics:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive HR dashboard and analytics as point of reference for management reporting/update and HR reference.
  • Conduct statistical analysis of relevant workforce data and provide critical insights for management reporting and/or to support other HR functions

  • Reviews work carefully to ensure utmost accuracy.
  • Constantly assessing the existing processes and procedures for improvements.
Education/Professional Qualification

Bachelor\'s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field

(added advantage with high proficiency in Budgeting System (BPC) and Ms Excel/analytics tool i.e. Power Query, Power BI)

Professional Experience

At least 10 years of relevant working experience in Human Resources.

  • The Group and BU/OU/Support Department governance structure and process;
  • BU/OU/Support Department operating parameters;
  • Laws, rules and regulations impacting BU/OU/Support Department area of operations;
  • The Group\'s principles and requirements of the Group\'s Code of Business Conduct ("COBC"), Group Policies and Authorities (\xe2\x80\x9cGPA\xe2\x80\x9d) and related policies and procedures.
  • The basic application of risk management in the BU/OU/Support Department area of operations;
