Requirements

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring accounting practices align with the company's accounting policies and comply with Financial Reporting Standards set by the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB).
• Liaise with relevant government agencies, external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions to ensure the company adheres to all statutory requirements, rules, and regulations.
• Prepare, analyze, and coordinate the company's annual budget and financial forecasts to support strategic planning and performance tracking.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable standards.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and banking facilities to ensure healthy financial liquidity and cost-effective financial management.
• Lead the coordination and execution of annual external audits and resolve any audit findings or issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial transactions.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions, cost optimization, and profitability improvements.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations, tax laws, and industry best practices and assess their impact on company operations.
• Supervise and mentor junior finance staff to ensure professional development and adherence to company policies and standards
