The role

The basis SAP Managing Consultant / Team Leader- is part of the SAP Technology Services organization.

The SAP organization in Poland specializes in the provision of SAP technology services, including manage hosting and development, to help customers in their digital transformation journey from on-premises to SAP in the public cloud. With a strong reputation for cloud acumen, the vast majority of organization approximately 60 employees are multi-certified in Azure, AWS and GCP competencies. We are a Microsoft Gold Partner, an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner with SAP Competency and recently joined the AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) for SAP.

Within this role you will join the BASIS TEAM who are a team of customer-facing SAP Expert delivery consultants who are working with our customers and contributing to a vast array of activities and projects such as Installations, Upgrades, Migration, Conversions, Advisory and Security topics

More specifically, within the SAP Managing Consultant role within the BASIS team, you will focus on:

Core Responsibilities :

• Participate as technical lead in mid-size to large size project teams
• Technical coordination & collaboration amongst the team
• Effectively levering, educating lower skilled personnel in large projects
• Ensure successful delivery of larger engagements with high complexity based on best practices
• Infrastructure sizing, migration, integration and customization of customer SAP landscapes
• Demonstrate leadership for consulting services across Delivery Functions (Plan, Build, Run)
• Frequently produces content for the service community internally and externally (community, blogs, whitepapers, ...)
• Possess foundational working knowledge of general principles of SAP Technologies such as SAP HANA migration approaches, S/4 Migrations and cloud vendor technologies
• Ability to lead engagement with efficient use of resources
• Drive consultative selling activities within a customer environment
• Advanced Consulting skills
• Customer business process analysis and understanding
• Advanced business writing skills for customer deliverables
• Customer solution presentation for complex solution designs (Ability to articulate the business value on complex solutions)
• Identify and allocation of correct skill requirements and effectively work cross vertical
• Presales support (Articulating service value in the sales process) / Up and cross sell capability
• Database technology basic skills regarding non HANA system platforms (MS, Oracle & DB2)
• Contribute to knowledge sharing within a community (e.g. team, practice, or project).
• Re-uses existing Knowledge Management to accelerate solutions delivery.

Job Specific:

• Provide Advisory (to smaller customers) and Delivery Subject Matter expertise (larger customers) to help customers understand the value that SAP and cloud technology can bring to enable their business
• Responsible for the Advisory Deliverable creation and presentation to customer stakeholders
• Contribute to Design Deliverables to ensure solution implemented is aligned to required project outcomes.
• Able to independently complete solution implementation for SAP workloads
• Able to learn quickly, and keep pace with rapid changes in the cloud space, including the introduction and deployment of new cloud platforms and tools.
• Obtain and maintain platform and SAP vendor certifications.
• Experience and desire to work in a technology consulting environment that requires regular up to 40% travel.

What we need to see from you

• You have Expert level skills, exceptional technical know-how, responsible for setting organizational strategy in this area. Seen as a thought leader, able to review external/industry trends and applying this best practice in the organization for the following areas:

• SAP BASIS ( General SAP BASIS Technical skills - administration, security, performance tuning as well as practical skills to perform update, upgrade, system copy, installations)
• Project Management (Leading integration part of the project)
• Presentation (Solution presentation, conducting Trainings and Workshops)
• Assessment preparation and presentation of outputs
• You have Advanced Level skills, extensive experience, and knowledge in this area, applying it independently to new and complex situations. Can provide guidance to others on:

• Databases (SAP HANA, SAP MAx DB, Oracle, DB2, SAP ASE practical administration skills)
• SAP BASIS conversions (SAP system conversions (S/4Hana, UC)
• Presales - offering, quotations, presentations for customer etc.
• Work with customer
• Analysis (Landscape, system, customer requirement, sizing, pricing etc)
