i-Call International is looking for competent English/ Mandarin over the phone Interpreters to provide assistance to non-English speakers in the medical industry. The interpreter will provide interpretation services during various processes. They will provide accurate concepts and explanations with no additions or omissions, and according to conventions of established interpretation protocol. Medical experience is good to have. Must be comfortable working remotely through a professional service contract. Must be available for at least 4 hours a day (Monday to Friday). ** Your Responsibilities ** Answer calls in a professional manner, acting according to the Interpreter\'s code of conduct. Always prepared to take notes during a call. Must go through Internal training Initially. Please note that this is a talk-time based positions. Thus, you will be paid for the call-duration only. **Technical Description** As this position is fully remote, you should comply with several technical requirements for your computer. We need to be sure, that your home office will work effectively. Working Computer Good internet connection with minimum 5MB download and upload speed USB Headsets **Compensation and Salary* The salary will be based on talktime/call-duration. The base salary is 0.12 USD per minute or 7.2 USD per hour of talktime. Payment frequency is monthly.
