We are seeking a passionate and experienced

Mandarin Language Teacher

to join our multicultural academic team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Mandarin language instruction to students of varying proficiency levels while promoting cultural awareness.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mandarin Language, Education, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or multicultural school setting..

Technical Skills:

Native or fluent Mandarin speaker.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience teaching Mandarin Subject Familiarity with international curricula such as IB, Cambridge, or other frameworks. Willingness to contribute to school development initiatives and community engagement. Cultural sensitivity and a team-oriented mindset.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be residing in and legally eligible to work in Malaysia.

As a Mandarin Language Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging Mandarin language lessons in accordance with the curriculum and students' learning levels. Develop and implement age-appropriate instructional materials and activities. Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing feedback to support individual learning. Integrate Chinese culture, history, and current affairs into lessons to enhance cultural learning. Participate in school events, cultural programs, and extracurricular activities related to Mandarin language. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience. Maintain accurate records of student performance and report regularly to parents and school administration. Attend meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops as required.

Ideal Candidate:

Strong classroom management and communication skills. Passion for teaching and nurturing student growth. Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and cultural backgrounds. Proficient in English (spoken and written); additional language skills are an advantage. Familiarity with international curricula such as IB, Cambridge, or other frameworks. Willingness to contribute to school development initiatives and community engagement. Cultural sensitivity and a team-oriented mindset.
