The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role involves lead generation, market research, prospecting, and managing client relationships to contribute to the overall business strategy and goals.
Responsibilities
Market Research
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential new markets
Stay up-to-date with industry developments, competitor activities, and market conditions
Client Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
Ensure after-sales support and customer engagement to maintain long-term relationships
Develop client retention strategies to reduce client churn and increase loyalty
Proposal & Presentation Development
Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients
Customize sales pitches to meet client needs and pain points
Negotiation & Closing
Lead contract negotiations and close deals
Ensure smooth handover to the delivery or account management teams after contract closure
Collaboration with Internal Teams
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience and achieve business targets
Track and report on sales activity, forecasts, and KPIs
Pipeline Management & Reporting
Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track potential clients' progress in the sales pipeline
Regularly update sales forecasts and report progress on sales
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Requirements
A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role (1-3 years preferred)
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Goal-oriented with a strong drive to meet targets
Solid understanding of business development processes, market dynamics, and client management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
Proficiency in Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply , training will be provided
