Prepare detailed cost reports, including material, labour, and overhead costs for precious metals recycling operations.
Calculate profit and loss for each transaction, ensuring accurate cost allocation and margin evaluation.
Maintain and reconcile inventory records for raw materials, work-in-progress, semi-finished goods, and finished goods with precise precious metal valuation.
Perform regular inventory reconciliations by comparing physical stock counts with ERP system data; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Assist in preparing budgets and production cost forecasts; analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
Work closely with operations teams to enhance inventory accuracy and streamline related workflows.
Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and analysis related to inventory, costing, and compliance.
Coordinate with the Business Development team to monitor supplier costs and assess the cost-effectiveness of raw material sourcing.
Analyze production and operational data to identify cost trends, evaluate material yields, and assess profitability of recycling processes.
Participate in monthly financial closing activities, including inventory valuation, cost allocation, and account reconciliations.
Prepare cost variance and margin analysis reports to highlight opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvement.
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Apply Incoterms knowledge to calculate accurate landed costs and assess risk distribution in supplier agreements and international shipments.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certifications such as
ACCA, CPA, CMA
are an added advantage.
Strong understanding of
Incoterms
(e.g., FOB, CIF, DDP).
2-4 years of experience in cost accounting and inventory tracking, preferably in manufacturing, recycling, or precious metals sectors.
Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in
Mandarin and English
(written and spoken).
