Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, and interview coordination.
Conduct initial interviews and work with hiring managers to ensure effective talent selection.
Organize and facilitate onboarding programs to ensure smooth new-hire integration.
Maintain accurate recruitment records and update the applicant tracking system.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances.
Support employee engagement initiatives such as events, recognition activities, and communication campaigns.
Assist in conflict resolution and disciplinary processes in line with company policies and Malaysian labor laws.
3. Performance Management
Support the implementation of the performance management cycle, including goal setting, evaluation, and feedback.
Assist managers with performance documentation and monitoring employee progress.
4. Training & Development
Coordinate and track employee training programs, including GMP, safety, and skills development sessions.
Maintain training records and assist in evaluating training effectiveness.
Help identify training needs based on performance gaps and capability requirements.
5. HR Administration & Operations
Maintain accurate physical and digital employee records in line with data privacy requirements.
Prepare HR documents such as offer letters, confirmation letters, and employment certificates.
Support payroll processing by ensuring the accuracy of attendance, leave, and related data.
Manage employee benefits including medical claims, insurance, and leave entitlements.
6. Compensation & Benefits
Assist in administering compensation and benefits programs to ensure internal fairness and competitiveness.
Support salary review exercises and market benchmarking activities.
7. HR Policies & Compliance
Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, etc.).
Assist in reviewing, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
1-2 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR best practices.
Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Strong empathy, relationship-building, and conflict-handling skills.
Proactive problem-solving ability.
High attention to detail and strong administrative accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
