Set up and operate sound, audio, and lighting systems for events and training sessions.
Install and configure media equipment, including video monitors, projectors, and sound systems.
Conduct installation, calibration, and adjustments of all sound and lighting components (e.g., microphones, loudspeakers, amplifiers).
Determine the appropriate type, layout, and placement of equipment based on acoustic requirements.
Ensure all audio-visual and lighting equipment are properly maintained and in optimal working condition.
Manage inventory of technical equipment, wiring, and accessories.
Provide on-site technical support during both online and offline events or training sessions.
B. Event Administration
Assist in overall event logistics and coordination with vendors and suppliers.
Support the preparation and tracking of event budgets, expense monitoring, and financial documentation.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of event materials and services.
Source, manage, and organize event supplies, rentals, and related equipment.
Contribute to the creation of event schedules, timelines, and production documentation.
Assist in registration management, attendee coordination, and special guest requirements.
Support the planning and execution of pre-event, on-site, and post-event activities.
Assist in developing event layouts, floor plans, and seating arrangements.
C. On-Site Event Support
Oversee and assist in event setup to ensure all elements are correctly arranged.
Provide hands-on support during live events, including vendor coordination, troubleshooting, and guest assistance.
Work closely with the event team to resolve issues promptly and maintain a smooth event flow.
Supervise and coordinate part-time staff, ensuring they are well-briefed and organized.
D. Post-Event Tasks
Assist in data collection and analysis, including attendance figures, participant feedback, and financial results.
Prepare post-event summary reports highlighting key outcomes, insights, and improvement areas.
Perform ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Minimum
1-3 years of relevant work experience
in event management or technical support.
Physically fit and able to
transport and set up heavy equipment.
Strong
project management skills
with excellent planning and organizational ability.
High attention to detail with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsible, committed, and capable of working
independently with minimal supervision.
Good command of
Mandarin and English
(spoken and written).
Immediate availability
is an advantage.
