Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented

Project Manager (Interior Design)

to oversee interior design projects from concept to completion. This role involves coordinating between clients, designers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery, cost control, and design quality. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, excellent communication in Mandarin and English, and solid experience in interior fit-out or renovation project management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Coordination

Oversee full project lifecycle -- from design brief, planning, and scheduling to completion and handover. Liaise closely with clients, consultants, designers, and contractors to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and executed. Review and approve project schedules, drawings, and material submissions.

2. Budget & Quality Control

Monitor project budgets, quotations, and progress claims to ensure cost efficiency. Ensure high-quality workmanship and design integrity throughout all stages of the project. Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or on-site issues promptly.

3. Team Management & Communication

Lead and guide the design and site teams to achieve project goals. Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to report progress and address challenges. Ensure clear documentation and timely communication across all project parties.

4. Compliance & Safety

Ensure all works comply with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Manage project risks and implement corrective measures when needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in

Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field

. Minimum

3-5 years

of experience in

interior design project management

(commercial, residential, or retail). Proficient in

Mandarin and English

(spoken & written). Strong knowledge of

project scheduling, budgeting, and site management

. Proficient in

AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or related tools

. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
