Job Description
Requirements:
- Degree in interior design or a related field, with at least 3-5 years of experience in workplace interior design.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of workplace design trends, building codes, and industry standards.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision;
- Good in English & Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken). Knowledge of Mandarin would be an added advantage;
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and preferences, and translate them into innovative and functional design solutions.
- Prepare conceptual design drawings, working drawings, specification schedules and preliminary plans for review and approval of clients.
- Lead the design process from concept development through to project completion, ensuring that design objectives are met within established timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of design intent.
- Participate in meetings, and project reviews, effectively communicating design concepts and progress updates.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging materials, and innovative design techniques to consistently deliver cutting-edge and imperatively designs.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
