Purpose of Role
We are looking for a passionate Mandarin Teacher to deliver fun, engaging and learning-focused lessons, manage the day-to-day planning, lead events, and work effectively as a member of the National Primary team. ISP Key Responsibilities
  • The ideal candidate must be well qualified and enthusiastic individual who has excellent subject knowledge in Mandarin and other subjects to teach for primary classes.
  • The candidate must be resourceful and innovative in his/her teaching approach. You must be passionate about your subject, with the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons that engage, motivate and challenge, with a strong emphasis placed on developing pupils\xe2\x80\x99 ability to achieve their individual potential and goals.
  • The candidate must promote high expectations for all students, designing learning activities that are aligned to our school\xe2\x80\x99s curriculum and creating a learning culture where there are no limits to what can be achieved.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • Applicants must possess at least a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99 Degree in Chinese Studies/Education/Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching or equivalent, (a teaching qualification would be desirable).
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience, preferably in a National school context.
  • Applicants will be hardworking and enthusiastic teaching professional with excellent subject knowledge and a sound understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Motivated individual with keen interest in encouraging, motivating and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills with fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
  • Is committed to wider aspects of school life and learning including developing students\xe2\x80\x99 life skills to support development and growth.
  • Can be a reflective individual who is committed to life-long learning and development.
