Job Description

We are looking for a skilled

Manual and Automation Performance Tester

to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, with a strong focus on

performance, load, and stress testing

. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and responsiveness of our applications under varying loads.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute

manual and automated test cases

for performance, functional, and regression testing. Conduct

load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing

using tools like

JMeter

,

LoadRunner

, or

Gatling

. Identify performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and system limitations; work closely with developers to resolve them. Analyze test results and provide detailed

performance reports

and recommendations. Participate in test planning, estimation, and requirement review sessions. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks like

Selenium

,

TestNG

, or

Cypress

(if applicable). Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate performance testing into

CI/CD pipelines

. Document test strategies, procedures, and test data management processes. Ensure adherence to QA best practices, performance standards, and SLAs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3-8 years of experience in

software testing

, with exposure to both

manual

and

automation

testing. Strong hands-on experience with

performance testing tools

like

Apache JMeter

,

LoadRunner

, or

Neoload

. Solid understanding of

web technologies, APIs, and databases (SQL, REST, etc.)

. Experience with

test automation tools

(e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Postman, or Cypress). Familiarity with

CI/CD tools

(Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.). Good knowledge of

performance metrics

,

monitoring tools

, and

profiling techniques

(Dynatrace, Grafana, New Relic, etc.). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with

cloud environments

(AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of

API performance testing

and

backend systems

. Exposure to

Agile/Scrum

methodologies. Basic understanding of

scripting languages

(Python, Java, JavaScript).
