About the role

Kerry is offering a 6-month contract opportunity for a Manufacturing Assistant position at its manufacturing site in Plentong, Johor. The primary goal of this role is to enhance Manufacturing 1KPS and optimize production workflow and documentation for 5 different line technologist.

Key responsibilities

• Compile record and report information as required for accurate and up-to-date departmental records; process incoming and outgoing forms and documents according to operating procedures.
• Receive documents according to procedures; verify quantities and items received against packing slips.
• Liaison with customer service staff and other related parties on new label setup, amendments and proof read before filing.
• Work closely with production management in updating the production logs and print out the current log sheets for plant use.
• Compile operational data to assist in preparing reports and analyses setting forth progress and adverse trends.
• Update the costing report. ( Downgrade and conversion for product )
• Update Daily Production Report and Production Analysis Report.
• Issue night letter (daily) with accurate product schedule
• Print label for Customer Service, Warehouse and other related parties (shipping mark, Thai FDA label-Davinci, etc.)
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
• Prepare all related documents as and when requested.

Qualifications and skills

• Minimum Diploma in a relevant field of study (Engineering Chemical/ Industrial)
• Minimum 1 year of working experience within manufacturing/ food industry experience will be an advantage
• Proficient writing and communication skills in English and Bahasa.
• Understanding the importance of deadlines and consistently meeting them.
• Strong computer literacy.
