This internship opportunity will contribute to the implementation, operation, and maintenance of security and inventory management tools, processes, and procedures. The intern will also support the digitalization of cybersecurity processes and the development of system automation to drive operational efficiency. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build a highly sought-after skill set in today's job market.
Responsibilities

• Design, enhance, and maintain the cybersecurity risk assessment dashboard to deliver actionable insights for risk management.
• Support the digitalization of manual processes to improve visibility, traceability, and reporting across cybersecurity activities.
• Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline workflows and increase operational efficiency.
• Assist in the operation and continuous improvement of security and inventory management tools.
• Analyze system and application data to identify risks, trends, and areas of improvement.
• Document processes, procedures, and findings to support knowledge sharing and governance.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT, and business teams to align security requirements with operational goals.
• Participate in day-to-day cybersecurity monitoring, reporting, and incident response activities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and IT systems.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is an advantage.
• Interest or basic knowledge in scripting languages (e.g. Python, PowerShell) and programming languages (C++, C#, Java, Selenium, Splunk).
• Knowledge of SQL such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL will be an advantage.
• Familiar with Microsoft Productivity Tools such as Power Automate, Power BI, Power App and SharePoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a global team environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced digital and security-focused environment.
