With a long history of industry leadership and cutting-edge innovation, we are committed to addressing the dual challenge facing society today: meeting the world's growing demand for energy while reducing environmental impacts, including the risk of climate change.We are expanding our manufacturing process control organization and looking for plant information engineers who enjoy working in dynamic, collaborative and diverse global teams to provide support to ExxonMobil manufacturing sites, such as business data workflow, data processing and accessibility.Currently, we have an opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Digital Solutions Engineer to join our global team. The role is based in Menara ExxonMobil, Kuala Lumpur.What you will doIf successful, you will represent the Business Unit in providing effective above-site manufacturing digital and data optimization support. You will be part of the team to leverage central work processes and tools and identify continuous improvement opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency. You will also have the opportunity to grow and develop junior engineers. Above all, key to manage the strong partnership with business and key contacts through quality work deliverables.In summary, we are looking for an experienced individual who will play a key role in supporting our technical and business impactful decision-making process. Key deliverables include:

• Provides L3 and L4 Uniformance operations support to Manufacturing Sites, including ongoing work processes, upgrades and projects for refineries and chemical plants and utilization of plant computing related technologies such as. PHD, DV (XHQ) and Business Applications.
• Optimize Uniformance tool and features (including reporting) for Business teams day to day decision making process.
• Digitalize Manufacturing environment (wireless technologies, electronic logbooks etc) by working closely with Manufacturing Engineering Division on digital improvement opportunities including consultancy, requirements gathering, testing and rollout and sustenance.
• Application consultancy and support across a broad portfolio of applications spanning a variety of platforms and technologies at site (desktop, client server, enterprise applications).
• Data Visualization - Work with Business Teams across Refinery and Chemical sites to identify and define how data visualization can deliver business value and appropriate solutions.
• Mentors junior engineers.
• Partnership with Business and Key Contacts

• Primary interface for remote engineering support with manufacturing Site Engineers/Site Single Point of contact to meet site business teams priorities and opportunities
• Define and implement initiatives, upgrades and sustenance. Key interface between technical (EMIT) IT personnel and Business Lines.
• Establish yourself as an extended member of the site Process Control team, and proactively contribute to work-planning and prioritization discussions
• Collaborate with Application Engineers to ensure applications utilization within scope of responsibility are operating at optimum level.
• Maintain strong working relationship with Manufacturing Control Systems on technology roadmap, upgrades, enhancements, or initiatives involving equipment and/or systems relating to Uniformance system
• Interface with and provides input to Global Network and Supervisor on issues and opportunities

About youSkills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information Technology
• Experience with database management (SQL), Ms.Excel macros and other digital related work deliverables (data visualization, data analytics and automation). Please provide relevant description of the project/deliverables.
• Be able to demonstrate the following:
