Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for providing project management and engineering support for medical products both equipment and disposables which are primarily located at external contract manufacturing (CM) partner\xe2\x80\x99s facilities at Penang, SEA and APAC. The engineer will be collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, both internal and external to Haemonetics on manufacturing sustaining activities.
Job Details
Initiate, manage, communicate and drive implementation for Haemonetics ECOs at manufacturing/contract manufacturing.
Develop, maintain, and present detailed project plans and track supplier change request. Initial the Supplier Change Notification workflow in Agile.
Update Manufacturing Instructions and drawings.
Review/analyze/update 2D or 3D mechanical drawings/ BOM in Agile system.
Identifies and evaluates alternative materials or suppliers to maintain availability, quality of the piece part materials & final product.
Determine the most cost-effective way or technology to support manufacturing demand.
As primary engineering focal to support manufacturing/contract manufacturing for yield, quality and materials availability challenges.
Troubleshoot issues, investigating independently/with a team, leveraging expertise across functions, with sensitivity to deadlines and balances priorities.
Develop & own validation protocols & reports of a project.
Review test protocols/reports developed by Haemonetics internal team & suppliers.
Carryout any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirement
Bachelor\'s /master\xe2\x80\x99s degree of Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
0-3 years working experiences in Product/Process/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering * Knowledge in SolidWorks software, GD&T, Tolerance stack-up analysis Mechanical Jig, fixture development, Medical Device finished goods packaging, GMP, Validation & Verification, PFMEA, Risk management, Control plan, GR&R, DOE, FAI, IQ/OQ/PQ protocol & report writing, SPC, Cpk & Six Sigma problems solving skills
Knowledge in Plastic injection molding, extruded molding, blow molding.
Sheet metal stamping, stainless steel machining, aluminum machining
Single Use Medical Device OR disposable set assembly, tubing extrusion. Background with ISO9001, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820
