Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

The major function is to provide all the necessary technical know-how and support for manufacturing operation inclusive of production management and process engineering, failure analysis and maintenance to ensure smooth, effective and efficient running of production.

MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Process Engineering (Yield and Efficiency Improvement, Cost Reduction). To develop new and improved manufacturing processes and implement them timely. To identify process control including FMEA and control plan with consideration of special characteristic and customer requirement. To generate and document all process specifications prior to mass production and ensure they meet and are compatible. To identify and analyse process and equipment related problems and take corrective actions timely to resolve the problems. To plan and develop an effective preventive maintenance program for all key production equipment. To monitor spare parts consumption and conduct cost reduction programs.

Production Management

Capacity versus output management and reporting. Yield reporting and SPC (Cpk, X/R charts) reporting. Housekeeping. Operator training and discipline.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Electronic, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. (Equivalent related experience may be substituted for educational requirements).

WORK EXPERIENCE

3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
