To complement our team, we are looking for a customer- and teamoriented individual for our division Plasma Control Technologies at the Penang site as a
Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.
What you will do:
Requirement gathering, design, configure, testing and deploy system solutions to support manufacturing operations and digital transformation initiatives.
Monitor and troubleshoot data flow between machines and MES in middleware technologies, SAP, MES Interface, identifying root causes of integration issues, resolving them proactively and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, automation, and IT to gather requirements, understand machine data needs, and translate them into effective MES functionalities and seamless data integration.
Develop training materials and train business users on MES systems.
Collaborate on Industry 4.0 projects to design and implement automation and efficiency improvements
What you bring:
Master's Degree/Bachelor's degree/Professional Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
At least 3 years working experience with MES Manufacturing Execution System platforms as a Process engineer, Business Analyst or a similar Manufacturing Execution System role.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, Machine integration, IT/OT operational technology knowledge, production workflows, and industrial automation.
Experience with an Industry standard MES, ideally 42Q MES, SAP PP user, middleware platform
Know-how and experience of system integration protocols Rest API, OPC/UA or other Machine Communication protocols. Expressive and self initiator.
