Family Description:

Coordinates the daily activities within the manufacturing facility/fab. Manages operations processes and the management of people. Ensures attainment of level of production and activities on an hour-to-hour, daily, monthly and yearly basis. Oversees the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations. Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs.

SUMMARY OF ROLE:

Responsible on the development and implementation of activities in production area to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Oversee manufacturing operation in production area.

Supervise production plans by arranging resources, communicating expectation, establishing priorities, and reporting the results of process flow to upper management.

-Prepare daily production performance reports to be presented to reporting superior.
-Motivate and influence subordinates the importance of teamwork with other departments.

-Responsible for creating a high morale workplace with the highest ethical standards.

-Conduct process audits and take appropriate containment, corrective, and preventive actions to minimizing or eliminating process deviations and non-conforming product.

-Establish and enforce organizational standards for a safe & clean production environment.

-Attend to tool and process issues immediately and execute proper escalation process where necessary.

-Suggest and devise improvement on process or tool.

-Active involvement in continuous improvement is a must.

-Prepare KRs/Evaluation, appraisal, CPR (Career Path Review) for direct reports.

RELATED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

-Degree holder in Management/Engineering.

-At least 1 -2 years of experience as a production supervisor at an auto manufacturing plant.

-Experience with production planning, controls and people management.

-Good verbal and written communication in both Malay and English.

-Exceptional organization and time management skills.

-Team player and must be able to work with multiple groups of people (Operators, Floor Managers, Engineers, etc.)

-Computer proficiency in Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word.

-Experience in testing & packing will be added advantage.
