Marine Team Lead - NDT UTTG Hull Gauging

Location: Office-based, KLTS (HQ), Kuala Lumpur

Contract: 1-Year

We are seeking a Malaysian Marine NDT Technician with 1-2 years' experience in Marine Industry inspections under different classes to take on the role of Marine Team Lead - NDT UTTG Hull Gauging.

Job Scope:

Lead and supervise a team performing Ultrasonic Thickness Testing Gauging (UTTG) on marine hulls in line with class survey requirements.

Prepare and compile reports in accordance with ship classification society standards (ABS, DNV, BV, NK, SCM, RINA, etc.).

Collaborate with the Project Engineer on project scope, deliverables, and timelines.

Ensure inspections meet safety and technical standards.

Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and class surveyors for smooth project execution.

Requirements:

Hands-on experience in NDT UTTG for marine hull inspections.

Strong understanding of class survey processes and reporting standards.

Valid and relevant NDT certifications.

Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage.
