Duties\xef\xbc\x9a \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide reports and ship repair images, as well as advice on repair issues and maintaining disputed claims before Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency(MMEA, which is also known as Agensi Penguatkuasaan Maritim Malaysia, APMM) officers; \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide or report on the status and progress of ship repairs; \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor and supervise projects from start to finish; \xe2\x80\xa2 Attend every test and record data; \xe2\x80\xa2 Need to go aboard the ship when conducting surveys, taking pictures, data, and reports; \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist APMM officers/members who require assistance if requested for this project. Endau is a major fishing port on the East Coast as well as a staging point for tourists traveling to Pulau Tioman and numerous islands off the north coast of Johore. Hence, Endau, Rompin has become the service and repair center for many fishing boats, ferries & tourist vessels plying the area. It was built on a 6-acre land, which is situated beside the Endau Bridge with close proximity to the South China Sea. Over the years, the company\xe2\x80\x99s operations have expanded in August 2006, Prestige Marine Engineering Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated as a subsidiary. The dockyard is strategically located at the mid-point between Johore and Kuantan, which spans across 2 acres of shoreline along the major fishing port of Endau, giving it a competitive edge over smaller dockyards on the East Coast. With more than 18 years of operations, we have experience in providing services, maintenance & repairs for over 7,500 government and non-government boats and vessels. Our dockyard is also well equipped with the necessary equipment and facilities to support the services and repair works. Since 2002, Prospect Dockyard Sdn. Bhd. has successfully obtained Government Contractor Status. Now, the company is a major government contractor servicing various government departments.
